"Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory" Dr. Suess

I've always felt a strong connection with the ocean. Growing up in a small fishing community on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, I have a surplus of memories that involve being near the ocean. Building sandcastles, digging for clams, going fishing on my dad's boat, carrying a bucket filled with 'treasures' I found on the shoreline - these memories created my ultimate 'happy place'. A place that I could visualize or visit to help self soothe in times of stress. A place that no matter where I was in the world, I could simply locate the nearest beach and feel like I was at home.

"Whether or not it is clear to you, the universe is unfolding as it should" - Max Ehrmann

I've always loved working with people. At a young age, I became fascinated in understanding why people act the way they do. As I learned about the differences and disadvantages in life, a compelling urge to help others overcame me. For 10 years, I worked with children and youth in the foster care system. My empathy and compassion to help others continued to grow. I wanted to do more. I wanted to find something different. I wanted to offer something new.

"With strength, you can discover your higher purpose" - Liz Dean

It was at my first one on one session with Mary Hutt, who is now my teacher and mentor, that I was introduced to several types of alternative healing. I immediately developed a new thirst for knowledge and felt an unexplainable drive to attend workshops, enrol in courses, buy books, research online - anything I could do to learn more about holistic healing. Ultimately, every person is responsible for his or her own health and well-being, but we can all benefit from seeking help from others. It is my belief that unconditional love and support is the most powerful healer. My goal is to provide a service that helps heal holistically, on all levels, to create a balance of the body, mind and spirit.
